Spread across an area of 18 acres of land, the Gopabandhu Academy of Administration boasts of a well-maintained and green campus that has beautiful lawns, flower beds, and a small mango grove of its own, which provides an amiable environment for the activities of the Academy.
The Academy has a three-storied teaching and administrative building. It has two air-conditioned Training halls with a seating capacity of 40 and 25 respectively; seven well-furnished classrooms; one air-conditioned Lecture theatre with a seating capacity of 90 and is well equipped with slide and overhead projectors, LCD projectors, whiteboards and other audio-visual instruments. The Academy has a well-equipped library with about 40,000 books and subscribes to many Journals, Magazines and Newspapers. Continuous effort is being made to keep the library well-stocked with the latest publications on various subjects. Besides, the library has a good collection of CDs and VCDs on State Government and Government of India training programmes and other reference materials. The campus has seamless Wi-Fi and dedicated lease-line internet connectivity.
The Academy has two hostels, Brahmani with 40 double-bedded rooms and Baitarani with 36 single-bedded rooms. The rooms have been upgraded with basic amenities including study table, sofa, wardrobes, tea/coffee-making kits, etc. The renovated dining hall and laundry facilities are also available.
For sports activities facilities arrangements have been made with Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, for athletics, swimming and gym activities. GAA tied up with Golf Club, Bhubaneswar Club, etc. facilities with transport arrangements. Morning PT and evening Penal PT are being organized on a regular basis at GAA campus only. Two experienced and skilled trainers, from Police Academy, are engaged in conducting such PT sessions.
